Cookie Policy

OMAI · OMAI Software Ltd. · Company No. 517341764 · Version 1.0 · Effective: July 2026

This policy explains how OMAI uses cookies and similar technologies on the OMAI website and application, what choices you have, and how to change them at any time. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. OMAI is operated by OMAI SOFTWARE LTD.

What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. "Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage and comparable browser mechanisms. We describe all of them together here, so nothing is hidden by calling it "not a cookie". Some are strictly necessary to run the service; others are optional and load only if you allow them.

Which domains this covers

This policy covers our application at app.omai-software.com and our company website at omai-software.com. A choice you make on one may not automatically apply to the other; where they share settings we say so, and you can always review your choices from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of either site.

We group technologies into clear categories. Strictly necessary technologies are always on because the service cannot work without them. Every optional category is off until you turn it on.

What we set today

At the time of this version, in a normal visit OMAI sets only strictly-necessary and functional first-party cookies. No analytics or advertising technology loads unless you opt in.

  • A sign-in session cookie (necessary) — set only after you log in.
  • A security/anti-forgery cookie (necessary).
  • A language cookie that remembers English or Hebrew (necessary/functional).
  • A consent cookie that stores your privacy choices (necessary).
  • On the sign-up and sign-in screens, a short-lived region cookie (necessary) holding your browser’s time zone and the country it implies. It exists so that a new account is created in the right region, time zone and currency — including when you sign up with Google, where that is the only way the information survives. It expires within about an hour, carries no identifier, and you can correct all of it in your settings.
  • If you follow an invitation link from a business that uses OMAI, or a partner or affiliate link, we set one signed cookie that remembers which link you came through, so that the invitation or the partnership can be credited if you go on to open an account (functional). It is written only by that click — never on an ordinary visit — it holds no information that identifies you, and it expires by itself within weeks.
  • When you connect a WhatsApp number, Meta’s Embedded Signup tool runs on that screen to complete the connection; it is a functional integration you start yourself.

Local and session storage

In ordinary use OMAI does not write to your browser’s local storage, session storage or IndexedDB. If this changes, this policy and the categories above will be updated first.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose per category. Rejecting optional technologies is exactly as easy as accepting them, and never limits your access to the site, signup, login, legal documents, support or core features.

  • Change or withdraw your choices any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
  • Withdrawing consent stops future optional technologies and removes optional identifiers where we can.
  • If you are signed in, you can also manage these choices in your account privacy settings.
  • Optional technologies never load until you explicitly opt in, so if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, no optional tracking runs unless you turn it on yourself.

Cookies are not the same as server logs

Rejecting optional cookies stops optional tracking in your browser. It does not stop the basic, security- and reliability-related server logs that every website keeps to operate safely; those are minimised and are described in our Privacy Policy, not controlled by the cookie banner.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break sign-in and other core features. Browser controls apply per browser and per device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our technologies change. Material changes to optional tracking update the consent version and prompt you to choose again.
