Data Deletion Instructions

We respect your right to control your data. You can request deletion of personal and business data processed by OMAI at any time, including account details, WhatsApp connections, conversations, and message content.

How to request deletion

By email: send a request to support@omai-software.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”.

• In the dashboard — request deletion: Settings → Account & privacy → Request account deletion.
• In the dashboard — disconnect WhatsApp: open WhatsApp Connection from the main menu → Remove. Disconnecting stops message delivery but does not delete stored data — use a deletion request for that.

What to include in the request

• Organization/business name
• Account email address
• Connected WhatsApp number
• WABA ID (if known)

What a deletion request covers

• Account profile and users
• WhatsApp connection identifiers and tokens
• Contacts and conversations, including message content
• Lead records
• The business knowledge base

What may be retained

• Billing and tax records as required by law
• Minimal/anonymized logs for a limited period for security purposes

Processing time

When you request deletion, we suspend processing on your account so it stops receiving and answering messages. We aim to acknowledge requests within 72 hours and to remove your data from our active systems within 30 days of verifying the request. Some data may remain in routine encrypted backups until they age out, and billing and tax records are retained as required by law. Deletion requests are processed by our team, and we confirm in writing to the address on your account once the removal is complete.
