Paying from outside Israel

International prices are published in US dollars and euro, but the international payment route is not open yet. Here is what a business outside Israel sees today, and how to get a plan set up.

Before you start

  • An OMAI account whose country is outside Israel

This article is for businesses whose account country is not Israel. Everything in the product works for you — the trial, the WhatsApp connection, the assistant, the inbox. The one thing that does not is buying a plan yourself, and this page explains exactly what you see instead and what to do about it.

The published international prices

The English pricing page quotes US dollars. Euro amounts are set for every plan as well, though there is no way to pay in euro today. Allowances are the same in every currency:

Pro$429 / month€399 / month10,000151,250 MB

The tax basis differs by currency, and this is the part that surprises people. Shekel prices are tax-inclusive: ₪249 is the amount debited, with 18% VAT already inside it. The dollar and euro prices are tax-exclusive — the tax that applies where you are is added on top, and is stated before anything is charged. Meta bills its own WhatsApp messaging fees separately, wherever you are. See Plans and allowances for what each plan includes.

What happens if you try to buy a plan

Choosing a plan from Available plans on an account registered outside Israel does not open a payment page. The billing page comes back with We couldn’t start the checkout and this message:

The refusal shown on the billing page
Self-serve checkout isn't open in your region yet. Contact us and we'll set your plan up for you.

Nothing is charged and nothing is created. The refusal is deliberate: the payment route that is live today is the Israeli card rail, which asks for an Israeli mobile number and debits shekels. Sending an account that was quoted in dollars into that page would charge the wrong amount in the wrong currency, so the checkout stops instead.

What to do today

  1. Step 1 Create your account on the English signup form and pick your Country from the list.

    • The country is prefilled from your browser time zone. Check it — it decides the currency your account is quoted in.

You should see: You get a 14-day trial on Starter. No card is asked for at any point.

  2. Step 2 Connect your WhatsApp number and set the assistant up as usual.

You should see: The assistant starts answering as soon as a number is connected — there is no separate switch to turn it on.

  3. Step 3 Before the trial ends, write to support@omai-software.com with your business name, country, billing address, any tax registration number, and the plan you want.

    • Our support hours are Sun–Thu, 06:00–15:00 UTC.
  4. Step 4 Wait for our written confirmation of the price, the tax treatment and the payment method before you pay anything.

    • If the trial runs out first, the assistant stops answering and your team keeps replying by hand. Nothing is deleted, and the assistant resumes once the plan is in place.

You should see: We arrange the plan on the account manually.

What works outside Israel today

  • The 14-day Starter trial, with the full assistant, inbox and knowledge base.
  • The dashboard and the help center in English, and the assistant answering in the language you configure.
  • Connecting a WhatsApp number through Meta. Meta decides eligibility and bills its own messaging fees directly.
  • Exporting your data, in every subscription state.

The country and currency on your account

Your account country is set once, at signup, and it decides the currency your plans are quoted in: Israel is billed in shekels, eurozone countries in euro, and everywhere else in US dollars. The Hebrew signup form does not ask for a country at all — an account created there is registered in Israel. There is no control in the dashboard for changing the country afterwards, so if it is wrong, write to us and we will correct it.

One thing to expect while the international route is closed: the plan cards on the billing page are priced in shekels for every account, including yours. Treat the dollar figures on the pricing page and in the table above as the ones that apply to you, and take the price we confirm in writing as final.

Can I pay in euro?

Not today. Euro prices are set for every plan, but no payment route settles euro, so there is nothing to pay into. If your business is in the eurozone, write to us and we will tell you what we can actually charge.

Does the free trial work outside Israel?

Yes. Every new account gets 14 days on Starter regardless of country, and no card is required to start it. See The free trial.

Why does the billing page show shekels when the pricing page showed dollars?

The plan cards inside the dashboard are priced in shekels for every account while the international route is closed. It is a display limitation, not a quote — no shekel amount is charged to an account outside Israel.

Can I change my account country myself?

No. The country is captured at signup and can only be changed by us. Write to us with the correct country and we will update it.
